Turn-by-turn directions
Our tour starts at the train station in Bad Urach. We follow the subway in the direction of Wilhelmsplatz and can stock up on provisions from the region at the weekly market held on Wednesdays and Saturdays. From the market square, we turn right onto Pfählerstraße, which meets Neuffener Straße. We follow this to the left and turn into the second street to the right (Ostendstraße). We cycle straight on until we meet a small stream. Here we turn left into Schützenstraße, cycle left along a field path to the Schützenhaus, cross the stream again and finally reach the country road. Here we turn left, branch off to the left after the Pfählhof campsite, finally reach a turn-off to Kaltental and follow the stream running to the left.
We pass two lakes and turn left towards Hülben (Heiligenbergweg). At the Rietenlauhalle, we continue to the left. The path takes us left again and then right to the remains of a Celtic site. Before the Burrenhof, we turn right towards the Celtic burial mounds. We follow the country road to Grabenstetten, turn right in the village itself onto Uracher Straße and after a while we come across the Falkensteiner cave on the left, which we take a closer look at.
Continue on the country road in the direction of Bad Urach. After a while we turn right onto the path that runs parallel to the road and which we already passed on the way there. Again we cycle along Schützenstraße and then Ostendstraße, which meets Neuffener Straße. We continue along Pfählerstraße. At the market square we turn into Kirchstraße, which becomes Graf-Biel-Platz and finally we reach Burgstraße. We follow this to the right and after a while turn right into Bäderstraße, which leads to the street "Bei den Thermen". There you will find the AlbThermen, in whose hot springs we can relax at the end of our tour.
